Sani Bankoley
Founder & CEO
Sani is a distinguished finance professional with over 20 years of experience in the Financial and Capital Markets, and a member of the UN FCCC Article 6.4 methodology roster of experts for the Paris Agreement implementation, boasting a unique and enriching multicultural heritage that blends West African vibrancy with Japanese precision. This blend of cultures has not only shaped Sani’s worldview but also her approach to finance, enabling her to bring diverse perspectives and innovative solutions to the table.
Sani’s career is marked by a successful track record of engaging with Multilateral Development Banks, Sovereigns, Agencies, Banks, and Insurers across the EMEA region.
She has built a leading Public Institutions franchise, recognized as a key partner by clients for their ability to provide innovative and effective solutions. Sani’s expertise lies in optimising the resources of both banking institutions and her clients, a skill that has established her reputation as a leader in the field.
Sani’s approach to finance is deeply influenced by her multicultural background. The resilience and dynamic nature of West Africa, combined with the meticulousness and disciplined approach inherent in Japanese culture, have been pivotal in shaping Sani’s professional ethos. This unique blend enables her to think outside the box, bringing a holistic and global perspective to her work.
Aymeric Teulon
Partner
Aymeric is a seasoned finance executive with a rich background in structured finance, particularly in the transportation, infrastructure, and energy sectors. As the former Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Deutsche Bank’s Structured Finance division, he demonstrated exceptional skill in managing processes and allocating financial resources for critical transactions in key projects. His tenure at Deutsche Bank was marked by a keen focus on operational efficiency and strategic financial planning, making him an invaluable asset to any team.
Prior to his role as COO, Aymeric played a pivotal role in leading the implementation of Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA) in response to the Basel 3 regulatory changes within the bank’s portfolio risk management team. This experience gave him profound insights into regulatory compliance and risk management strategies, further strengthening his expertise in complex financial operations.
Aymeric brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the financial sector’s intricacies. His proficiency in navigating regulatory landscapes, combined with his strategic approach to finance and risk management, positions him as a leader capable of guiding clients through the complexities of structured finance.
Nia Youmby
Partner
With over 20 years of experience in energy trading, renewable energy optimization, and risk management, Nia brings deep expertise in navigating energy transitions. He has held key roles at EDF, Equinor, Barclays Capital, and Alpiq Trading, where he specialized in energy markets, quantitative modeling, and trading strategies.
Currently, Nia oversees a portfolio of 1,500+ renewable energy assets, including solar, wind, and utility-scale battery storage. His work emphasizes optimizing clean energy integration, securing robust offtake agreements, and enhancing financial sustainability in the energy sector.
Beyond Europe, Nia has played a pivotal role in Africa’s energy landscape. He contributed to the Africa GreenCo initiative, designing risk simulation tools and trading strategies for the Southern African Power Pool. His expertise in energy finance and project structuring has helped address creditworthiness challenges and scale renewable energy adoption across the continent.
Nia’s on-the-ground experience spans energy audits and smart monitoring solutions, ensuring the long-term success of renewable projects. He is currently leading a hybrid solar PV initiative in Cameroon, integrating advanced energy efficiency strategies to maximize self-consumption and reduce emissions.
His extensive industry experience, coupled with a strong track record in innovation and sustainability, positions him as a leader in energy transition and renewable asset optimization.
